Get to know a little bit more about them below… 🤩
The TNP Foundation serves Atlanta’s youth by providing comprehensive mental health support and wellness programs. TNP partners with schools, community groups, and after-school programs to offer year-long yoga and mental health programs to kids and the adults who work with them. These programs include weekly classes, access to Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum, and adult wellness sessions, workshops, and trainings.
TNP Foundation is heavily focused on sustainability in sponsored programs by training on-site adults, ensuring that each program includes at least one individual who completes our 200-hour Yoga Teacher and SEL Facilitator Training (YTT). The train the trainer model allows them to dedicate funding and work to sites and then leave them equipped to continue as they move on to #spreadthecalm with other youth and adults! Their initiatives extend beyond yoga, incorporating a variety of mental health supports to foster resilience and well-being among youth.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The TNP Foundation relies on community donations, grants, fundraising, and business sponsors to sustain our initiatives.TNP focuses on centering black and brown teachers in their work with youth and their teaching opportunities with the Atlanta community. Their mission is to ensure equitable access to transformative therapeutic mindfulness interventions for all, particularly those in historically marginalized communities.
